The coating we use

At Juicy Car Care, we use Cartec Ceramic Guard, a professional-grade IR-cured ceramic coating applied at our dedicated unit in Findon Valley, Worthing. IR curing means the coating is cured using infrared heat rather than just waiting for ambient temperature to do the work. It speeds up the bonding process and produces a harder, more consistent result across the panel. This is how professional ceramic coating should be done, not in a driveway in whatever conditions the weather decides to produce.

The process

A ceramic coating is only as good as the preparation underneath it. Before any coating is applied, the car goes through a full decontamination wash, clay bar treatment, and paint correction to whatever level the paintwork needs and the customer wants. Applying a ceramic coating over swirls and defects doesn't hide them, it locks them in permanently. We don't skip the prep.

The coating is applied panel by panel under controlled conditions. Once applied, the IR curing process bonds the coating to the clear coat, forming a hardened layer of protection that sits on top of the paint. The car is then inspected under lighting before being released.
