Salt water is harder on a finish than anything a car faces. Every launch leaves salt, scum line and mineral deposits on the hull, and UV fades gelcoat fast when a ski sits uncovered between rides.

A ceramic coating seals the hull and topside so salt and grime rinse off instead of bonding to the surface. Your ski stays glossier for longer, the wash-down after a session takes minutes instead of an hour, and the gelcoat is protected from UV fade.

Jet ski ceramic coatings from £400. Price depends on the size and condition of the ski. A newer hull that needs light prep sits at the lower end. Heavier oxidation or staining needs correction first and we quote that individually.

Coatings are applied indoors at our unit in Findon Valley, just north of Worthing, not on a windy slipway. A ceramic coating needs a clean, dry, controlled environment to bond and cure properly, and that is the difference between protection that lasts seasons and protection that fails in weeks.

We also offer standalone jet ski washes and full details, priced on condition, and these can be done wherever the ski lives.

Boat Cleaning and Valeting

We wash, polish and protect motorboats and RIBs at their berth or on the hard. Work is quoted per boat because no two are the same, tell us the length, where it is kept and what state it is in, and we will give you a straight price.

Why Use a Detailer Instead of a Boat Wash?

A quick jet wash gets the mud off. It does not remove bonded salt, restore faded gelcoat or leave any protection behind, so the boat looks the same or worse a fortnight later.

Detailing is different. We decontaminate the surface properly, polish out oxidation where it is needed, then seal the finish so it stays cleaner between washes. It is the difference between rinsing your ski and protecting your investment in it.

How long does a ceramic coating last on a boat or jet ski?

With sensible aftercare, expect one to three seasons depending on usage and whether the craft lives in the water or on a trailer. A coated hull that gets a fresh-water rinse after salt use will hold its protection far longer than one left salty.

Can you remove the yellow waterline stain on my hull?
