How the Process Works

Every coating starts with a thorough decontamination wash to remove bonded contaminants, iron fallout and road grime from the paintwork. Where the paint has swirl marks, oxidation or light scratches, we carry out paint correction first to get the surface as clean and flat as possible before anything goes on. The coating is then applied by hand, panel by panel, and cured under infrared heat to lock it in properly. The result is a hard, slick layer bonded to the paint at a molecular level.

We use Modesta ceramic coatings exclusively. Juicy Car Care is a certified Modesta installer, which means we have been trained and approved to apply their professional product range. These are not off-the-shelf consumer coatings. They are professional-grade products used by approved detailers only.

Ceramic vs Wax or Sealant

A traditional wax lasts a few months at best. A paint sealant might stretch to six months or a year. A properly applied ceramic coating lasts two to five years, depending on the product and how the car is maintained. That alone makes it a far better investment for anyone who wants genuine, lasting protection.

On top of the longevity, ceramic coatings make the car significantly easier to maintain. Water beads and sheets off the surface rather than sitting on it, and dirt has far less to grip onto. A coated car takes a fraction of the effort to wash and keep clean compared to unprotected paint.

Ceramic coating packages start from £695. The final price depends on the size of the vehicle, its current paint condition, and whether paint correction is required beforehand. Every job is quoted individually.
